Welcome to Sea Sotra's new web site.
Over the last few years we have become increasingly aware that alongside other requirements our clients, and prospective clients, need more and more accurate information on the transport infrastructure within the CIS. Being one of the three main philosophies on which we operate competitive prices, service, accurate and timely information, we believe the time is right to provide some of this information to you directly via the world wide web.
In developing this site our intention is to provide clients and prospective clients with basic and relevant information to assist them when making decisions in trading, purchasing, selling or moving cargoes via CIS ports, railways and the Caspian Sea. The site however will not only be a conduit for information but will allow you to send enquires, check on our services and know more about us.
We hope that this is of use to you and look forward to hearing from you.

December 2009 - Sea Sotra obtains ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Sea Sotra has obtained the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2008 certification related to the quality of its management system. Certification against these international standards only comes after a rigorous audit from an independent organisation, which includes an analysis of the development and implementation of the company’s policies, objectives and business processes, also taking into account compliance with legal requirements and occupational health aspects.
ISO 9001 certification covers the full, integrated management system of the company, including its processes, organisational structure and roles and responsibilities, aimed ultimately at delivering to customers and stakeholders what they expect.
About ISO: ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a global network that identifies what International Standards are required by business, government and society, develops them in partnership with the sectors that will put them to use, adopts them by transparent procedures based on national input and delivers them to be implemented worldwide. ISO standards transfer know-how, avoid wasting resources, safeguard public health and safety.
